ITF Women’s International Tennis Tournament

The Tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Lalit Srivastava, Chairman & CEO GNIDA. The tournament, has confirmed participation from over 100 women players from across 30 countries world wide.

The tournament carries total prize money of US $ 25,000 along with a special incentive of $ 10000 for the runners up. This was announced by Mr. Manoj Gaur (Chairman Jaypee Group) as a special gesture to the players from the Jaypee Group. The finals will be played on the 22nd of March 2008, 3 PM onwards.

Coinciding with this tournament is also the launch of the International Standard Tennis Facilities at the Jaypee Integrated Sports Complex. Sprawling over 15 acres, the sports complex will be the largest private sports facility in the country with over 20 sports disciplines.

Conceived to host international tournaments, the Tennis Facility at the Jaypee Integrated Sports Complex currently offers 6 synthetic courts, separate locker rooms for men and women, players lounge, video analysis. In the near future, the complex will further develop 7 more courts of grass and clay.

The Jaypee Integrated Sports Complex in times to come will also offer multi-sports and a wide range of other recreational facilities like Olympic size Athletic Track & Field, an Olympic size swimming pool, soccer field, basket ball & volley ball courts, badminton courts, squash, table tennis, billiards/pool/snooker, 4 Lane bowling alley, fitness centre, etc.
